Digital created ID’s printed and processed 3D / August 2026

Look at my works and allow them to ‘look back’.

They are intuitively composed dark, amorphous images with clear linear suggestions of order. The background color is chosen through subtle shifts in intensity from lighter to darker and warmer to cooler. Pronounced associations in the images are cancelled to create anonymity, granting the viewer the freedom to experience personal interpretations and experiences.

Essential to me are the 3D elements and spatial interventions that are added. These literally deepen the works but also create a suggestive scientific, artistic context. The ambition is to enhance personal access to meaning and layering through clear and simple compositions.

Every level of perception by the viewer is of equal importance: a simple glance of recognition of an object, animal, space, or pattern of the psyche or chemistry of body and/or soul. Changing perspectives ensure dynamism and respect for the different moments of perception. The evolution within my stable working method involves constant new confrontations and the use of ‘qualitative constraints’. Material selection is driven by basic digital physicality, while the 3D materials are collected/purchased independently. A diverse stock of objects is randomly assembled in my studio that may play a role or position in the works or serve as inspiration for the digital drawings.

From the very beginning of the creation of my 2/3D works, recognizable patterns and working methods are consistently employed with the ambition to activate interactivity between my art and the viewer. There is a drive to organize and balance randomly arising creations and turn them into powerful, authentic images.

All interpretations/observations are correct! Accessing visual art without prior knowledge or experience is a goal in itself. Experiencing pleasure or recognizing meaning in the arts enriches everyone's life, and audience recognition of this adds value to relationships and communities.

My digital works are intuitively composed on the iPad and then printed. During the process, I cut into the works and add 3D elements of various materials, including brass, metal, nylon, and wood. The content and meaning are abstract and kept open until completion. Various references and interactions between emotion/technology and identity/science emerge. Optional sources include geography organized by evocative architectural patterns and mental figurations.
